Horseback Trail Rides

We offer a handful of different rides here at the D-Spur Ranch. Whether you are a beginner rider or advanced rider, we have the right horse for you! We want everyone to be able to come out and see the beauty of the Sonoran Desert!  The pictures we have don't do justice to the true beauty seen on our trails! While out on our rides, be ready to see some wildlife too!

​​​1 and 1.5 Hour Trail rides

Our hour and hour and a half trail rides are better options for small children (7 and older) and beginner riders. We give great instruction and demonstration before we get you fitted to your saddle and out on the trails! There is one lookout you don't want to miss on this trail!

1 Hour - $60/Rider

1.5 Hour - $75/Rider

​2 Hour Trail ride

Our two hour trail ride is great for anyone who has had some time in the saddle. These are two hours of venturing into the beautiful Sonoran Desert! There are 3 lookout points on this trail for breathtaking picture moments! This is our most popular ride offered! 

2 Hour - $90/Rider

​Half-day Ride

If you are looking for a great Western Experience, our half day ride is one to remember! We ask you pack a sack lunch and while exploring part of the 5,800 acres of State Trust Land, you truly feel like a cowboy when you get back! We have our expert guide Dave, a character from New York, who has lots of stories to tell along the way!  ​

Bird Watching Ride

Join your wrangler through multiple washes and flats to spot beautiful birds of the Sonoran

Desert.  Be sure to bring a camera and binoculars as your guild will gladly stop to point out these remarkable feathered creatures.

1 Hour and 15 minutes - $70/rider

​Specialty Rides

Specialty rides are a true cowboy experience for experienced riders only. These rides will take you bushwhacking through cacti country. There are no designated trails and anything can happen! Rides go out to check on fencing, checking our well, or keeping an eye on our roaming cattle. These rides will be 4+ hours in the saddle. Please contact us if you have any questions or if you would like to book. We can not take a group larger than 4 riders.

Specialty Ride - $150+ / Rider

Lead Line 

If you have little ones in your group who are too young to get on our trails, we do offer lead line rides on a horse in a closed arena. An adult is able to take hold of a lead line while a little one sits up on one of our horses. You are able to lead line a young child for  up to 30 minutes.
